I know that it's been a while, but I wrote this poem and couldn't resist posting it.  A "found" poem is "a poem you find in another form of writing that seems to have the poetic characteristics or potential to be a poem," or so says my creative writing professor...^^...This was written for that class.  I "found" it on a flyer for "To Write Love On Her Arms," an amazing non-profit organization that promotes addiction, suicide, and self-injury awareness.  Check out their website if you have a minute...

So yeah...I got this fic idea a few months ago while I watched my brother play Need for Speed:  Carbon.  It's not very well developed.  Hell, this isn't even an entire first chapter...it's not even a page.  It's just something that I want to play around with.  It's something different and something that I haven't seen written in the KH fic community yet.  I'm still not sure about it, yet, tho...  ::shrugs::  Guess I'll just have to see how it goes...

So...this is the prologue to my kinda sorta novel-in-progress.  It's been very slow moving because I've been focusing so much on my other writings.  But I REALLY like this prologue.  This first part of Pulse, subtitled Ambivalence, is based off a mixture of my Gravitation fan fiction "Unbeating Heartache" and my original RP called "Ambivalence"...

Summary:  Hunters were placed on the earth to protect the Human race from creatures of the night. Vampires. Demons. Witches and Summoners are two races all in their own. Neutrality. A safe haven for any Vampire or Hunter unless they break their code and choose a side. The hunt is on to find the most vicious Vampire to roam the earth, and Crowley Fujiwara is heading the race. All he wants is Malekai's head, but, for him, wanting is obsession, and he won't stop until he has what he wants.  But will the obsession grow into more?...

Summary:  When Shuichi finally gets fed up with him and leaves, Eiri starts to slowly lose his mind.  He is overcome by amnesia, but slowly recovers his memories with help from Touma and Mika.  An unexpected visitor brings it all flooding back....  Part of this is written in second person POV, while the rest is written in Eiri's POV in third person...

So I read the lyrics to the song "Solitude" by Evanescence forever ago, but was only able to hear the song just last night.  I've been wanting to write a fic based off the song since I read the words, but I wanted to wait until I heard the song so I could have a mood set for it.  Well...I've got the mood set and the ideas all rollin'.  Here's the summary, some ideas, and the song lyrics...and...the first chapter...

Summary:  Sora and Kairi are to be married in only a couple of weeks.  In this short time, will Riku finally be able to overcome his weakness and confess his feelings for his best friend?  Or will he just sit back and watch the love of his life be ripped away?
